Do you live in an apartment or small space with no room for trees? No worries! Join the Illawarra Bonsai Society for an enlightening session on the art of Bonsai. Discover how to create your own miniature canopy and learn about the incredible local species.

The Illawarra Bonsai Society has a long and distinguished history in the world of Bonsai in Sydney, showcasing this beautiful art form. This talk and demonstration are perfect for anyone aged 14 and older. By the end of the session, you'll come to appreciate that Bonsai can thrive not only in Japan but also in Australia with our local species.


Registration

  • This session is designed for anyone aged 14 and older.
  • The maximum capacity for this session is 60 participants.
  • Registration is mandatory for all participants.
  • You can book a maximum of 4 tickets.
  • You do not need to print your ticket. Once you register, your name will be checked off the attendance list at the venue.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.

Location and time

The talk will take place in the Venue+ Room at the new Kirrawee Library+, allowing participants to be awed and find inspiration. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in, as the workshop will start promptly at 11 AM.
