We partner with local organisations and community to bring people together in recognition of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to build reconciliation.
Reconciliation Week
In 2025 we are partnering with Sutherland Shire Reconciliation to showcase a free screening of Servant or Slave (M) on 31 May from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, at the Hazelhurst Arts Centre. This event marks this year’s theme for National Reconciliation Week – ‘Bridging Now to Next”. The film will explore themes of the history attached to Australia’s Stolen Generation. The film will conclude with an insightful panel discussion and include a free afternoon tea.
Book your spot now for our special screening of Servant or Slave.
NAIDOC Week
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Sutherland Shire each July to reflect and recognise the narrative of our nation and the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
